MTV Africa Music Awards Returns
MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) is set to make its return on 20 February 2021. The award show, last held in 2016, will be hosted in Uganda, Pearl of Africa. MTV Africa and MTV Base have partnered with Uganda this time to showcase African music, culture, and creativity. MAMA 2021 The iconic award show is set to recognize and reward artists who have played a pivotal role in shaping Africa’s music in the past year. Top performers are lined up for the event, with the Grammy Award winner DJ Khaled being the night’s host. Voting Opens Voting for the artists in the 20 categories is currently open. The categories are contested with top African artists, including Burnaboy, Diamond Platinumz, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Khaligraph Jones, , among other top names in African Music.
